This year taught me a lot
22 was the most impactful year yet, here's why:
This past weekend I notched another year around the sun.
This year was exciting, bringing new experiences, fresh opportunities, and big accomplishments. But it wasn’t without its challenges—it also included heartbreak, setbacks, and crushed dreams. Yet despite the lows, each challenge became a stepping stone, fueling growth and a deeper sense of purpose.
Here’s a little reflection I wrote on my personal Instagram:
22 years old was the most impactful year of my life.
I started my senior year of college, moved in with my two best friends, and quickly realized it was the most incredible blessing. I met a new friend, someone who engaged in deep conversations and challenged me to become better.
I realized the delicacy of the college experience. Went out of my comfort zone and met new people, was intentional about attending school events, and realized the love I had for university.
I challenged myself to be vulnerable, work on insecurities, and live in the moment.
I raced my bike in incredible places, deepened my love for the cycling community, emphasized the importance of adventure, and explored more.
I graduated college. A goal I had been working on for years. Everyone in my family came. Felt all the emotions. Said goodbyes. Fell in love with education and struggled to let go.
I’ve been navigating post-college life. Taking risks, starting that business, and curating a new chapter.
I officiated my best friend’s wedding
I got hurt. My year turned upside down. I cried, felt lost, felt lonely, and angry at times. I had support though. I struggled to find myself again. Set new goals, worked really hard, and achieved something many didn’t believe in. I shared my story, impacted others, and will continue to do so.
If you made it this far, just know I’m so happy you’re in my life. Thanks for reading my journal entry. Cheers to 23, I’m so damn grateful for this life.

The crisp air, changing leaves, and cooler temps can only mean one thing: fall is here, and it’s one of the best seasons to get out on your bike! Whether you’re hitting the trails or cruising through your neighborhood, fall offers a whole new experience for cycling.
Riding with friends in the fall is unbeatable. There's something special about sharing the ride, laughing, and pushing each other, all while soaking in the beautiful autumn colors. The camaraderie makes every climb easier, every mile more fun, and every post-ride coffee that much sweeter.
