I might retire...

Running sucks, but it might be worth the pain. Here's why.

Welcome back, friends!

The Bikes Change Lives crew ran a marathon this weekend. Don’t worry we aren’t joining your local “hot girl run club”, but we are going to dive into the value we got from running a marathon. More to come below!

Running Sucks, but worth it?

We did it again. Another marathon. And yep, it sucked. 😂 This was marathon #2—the St. George Marathon both times. After the first one, we swore we’d never run again. Now? It’s looking suspiciously like a tradition, and honestly, I have mixed feelings.

Mile 15

So here’s the deal—no deep life lessons or over-the-top reflections. Just some real talk and a few one-liners that got us through it:

  • Comfort is overrated—chase the discomfort.

  • Who needs training? Wing it, baby.

  • Watching people crush it is the best.

  • Go until it hurts, and then keep going

  • Smile. Even when you feel like crying.

  • Running with your brother? 10/10 recommend.

  • Chat with random people—it makes the miles fly by.

  • Doing hard things kinda messes with your mind in the best way possible.

Running still sucks, but... see you next year? Maybe?

Fall has delivered for us…

3 Falls Trail

3 Falls Trail

This is my first time back in northern Utah during the fall in four years, and man, does it feel good! There’s something about this season up here that just hits differently—especially when you’re on a bike, tearing through trails with the crisp autumn air and mountains bursting with color all around you.

Being back here reminds me of why I fell in love with biking in the first place. It's more than just a workout or a way to clear my head—it's a connection to the place and the season like I'm part of the landscape as much as it’s a part of me.

It feels good to be home in the mountains again.

Another kit drop??? Shhhh.

You know how we roll, every few months we drop another edition of BCL kits.

The weather in Utah is getting colder so you know what that means.

Darker colors?

We’re making it cold weather-approved, but keeping that color BCL is known for!

We will be releasing it on here first, so make sure you share with your friends so they don’t miss out!
